UNIT 3 :	 LET’S LEARN (2)
I. Aims: helps sts know about asking and answering about objects.
II. Structures: Review “What’s this? It’s  / What are these ? They’re ” 
III. Vocabulary: a crayon / crayons / a table / tables.
IV. Materials : Teacher’s cards, name’s cards , puppets, CD,
V. Techniques : Pairwork, groupwork,

 A. Warm up and review :
 - T play the CD . (page 22)
 - T asks sts to listen and repeat .
	 - T divides class into 2 groups , practice again the dialogue.
	 - T gives comments.
 B. Present new lesson :( giới thiệu bài mới)
 Show the article:
- T shows the article. 
	“Let’s Learn (2)”
- T reads .
	- T calls 5 sts to repeat, then all the class.
- Sts listen and repeat.
	- T corrects.
	 Activity 1 : ( ôn tập “ What are these ?)
 a) Use real objects ( cassettes). Put cloth on the objects. ( open cloth when asking)
- Puppets ask and answer: ( three times)
	Puppet A : What are these ?
	Puppet B : They’re cassettes .
	b) Practice :
 - T ask sts to practice in pairs 
 - One points and asks , one answer.
 - Change their roles.
	S1 : What color is this ?
	S2 : It is red .
	Activity 2 : ( giới thiệu 4 từ mới)
 a) Shows the picture of 2 kinds of objects on the board , page 23.
- Using puppets to make a model .
 - Puppets points and read : ( twice)
	Puppet A : ( points and read) a crayon
	Puppet B : ( points and read) Crayons
 Puppet A : ( points and read) a table
	Puppet B : ( points and read) tables
T and sts make a model :
-T points , sts remember and read.
-T listens and gives comments.

	Sts : a crayon.
	Activity 3 : ( luyện tập)
	a) Divide class into 2 groups. 
- T ask sts : One is black cat , one is yellow cat.
	- T ask sts to use “ what are these ?” and objects to practice .
 G1 : What’s this ?
	G2 : It’s a crayon.
 G1 : What are these ?
	G2 : They’re crayons .
 - Sts change their roles.
	- T gives comments.
	b)T asks sts to practice in pairs and change their roles.
 S1 : What’s this ?
	S2 : It’s a crayon.
 S1 : What are these ?
	S2 : They’re crayons .
 - T gives comments.
 C. Consolidation :(Củng cố)
	- T asks sts to tell what lesson they have learnt.
	T: What lesson have you learnt ?
	Sts : Let’s Learn (2).
	- T shows and guides the game.( Bingo)
- Divide class into 2 groups .
- T will show 3 kinds of objects. Sts in each group will pick up a number then says the objects.
- T controls the game.
- T gives comments.
