1) Pre – teach vocabulary:
- raw sewage (n) :	nước thải chưa qua xử lí	( translation )
- drop (v) :	rơi xuống	( mime )
- pump (v) :	bơm	( mime )
- spill (v) :	đổ 	( mime )
- ship (n) :	tàu	( visual )
* Checking:	What and where
2) Set the sence:
- We are going to listen to how the ocean is polluted.
- Put the pictures on the board:
	- people
	- country
	- factory
	- ship
3) Matching:
	Who	What
	people	raw sewage
	ship	garbage
	coutries	oil
	factories	
- Have Ss guess and match .
II/ While- listening.
- Ask Ss to listen and check their predictions.
- Ask Ss to listen again to fill in the chart.
	How The Ocean Is Polluted
Firstly: raw sewage is pumped directly into the sea.
Secondly: garbage is dropped into the sea.
Thirdly: Oil spill pollute the water and kill fish and sea animals.
Next: There is garbage from factories.
Finally: Paople who go to the ocean litter / throw garbage into the ocean.
III/ Post- listening:	Language focus 3.
- Set the sence to introduce structure:
	Adjective + that clause
Ba: Dad! I got mark 9 on my test.
Farther: That’s wonderful! I’m pleased that you are working very hard.
* Form: 	S + be + adjective + that clause
	complement
- Ask Ss to do exercise in language focus 3 on page 55.
- Let Ss work in pairs to complete the dialogues.
- Give feedback.
Revision of adjectives and adverbs.
	Adj + ly = adv of manner
* Adj can come in two places in a sentence.
- Before noun : a nice girl / new shoe
- After the verb “be” and “ look, seem, feel, tatse....
	The shoes are new/ That soup smells good
* Adv normally goes after the direct object.
	I read the letter carefully.
If there is no object, the advs go after the ordinary verbs.
	She walked slowly.
 Language focus 1:
Get Ss work in pairs to use the adverbs provided in “ pelmanism game” to complete the sentences.

 Language focus 3.
Let Ss work in pair to to complete the dialogues.
