A/ Aims: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to use some prepositions of position “at the back / front, on the left / right , in the middle” to describe the position of books in the library.

I. Presentation:
1) Pre- teach vocabulary:
_ rack (n) : 	giá đỡ	( visual )
_ In the middle (pre) : 	ở giữa	( visual )
_ at the back ( pre ) : 	phía sau	(explanation )
_ at the front ( pre ) : 	phía trước	( antonym )
_ ( to) find : 	tìm kiếm 	( translation )
_ in the center (pre ):	ở giửa, trung tâm	( synonym )
* checking:	Slap the board
2) Presentation Dialogue.
_ T. presents the dialogue at page 48.
_ Have Ss practise reading :	 _ chorally
	 	 _ in pairs.
* Model sentences:
_ Where can I find the Math books , please?
_ Where are the Math books , please?
They are on the shelves on the left.

_ Use :	Ask and answer about the position of something.

III. Pre- listening:
Open predictions:
Ss look at the picture page 48 and guess what books are on the racks and shelves.( 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 ).

IV. While – listening.
Grid.
Ss listen and fill in the Grid Then compare with their predictions.
* Answer key:

V. Post- listening.
Write it up.
_ Asks Ss to write the position of each kind of book.
* Answer:

b) Science and Math books are next to the study area.
c) Geography and History books are on the shelse next to the science books.
d) Newspapers and Magazines are on the racks in the center of the room.
