Period 73 Unit 12: Let’s eat
Leeson 1: What shall we eat? (A1)
A. Aims: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to read the text to understand the delails and practise in food vocabulary.
+ teaching aids
+ anticipated problems: The text is quite long for weak students to master in 45 minutes.
B. Procedure:
I. Pre - reading.
1. Warm up Kim’s game
Use pictures about fish, beef, milk, vegettables, bananas, apples, peas, carrots, oranges
Get students to run through the pictures
Ask students to write down name of food in the pictures
Ask students to come to board and write.
2. Pre – teach vob:
- Spinach (n) / spinits / : rau chân vịt, rau mâm xôi
- cucumber (n): dưa chuột
- papaya(n): đu đủ
- durian(n): sầu riêng
- pineapple(n): quả dứa
(to) hate: ghét( =dislike)
(to) smell: ngửi
+ Checking:	Bingo
3. Open pediction:
- Ask students to guess what food Hoai and her aunt bought.

- Ask students to come to the board and write names of food that they bought.
II. While – Reading:
1. Reading A1:
- Ask students to read the text and check their predictions
