 * Answer: 
 + The usage: The Past simple tense expresses an action that completely finished in the past. This tense always goes with: yesterday, ago, last night/ week/ year. .

. Use the picture on page 123 and a sub-board.
- Hang the picture on page 123 and a sub-board on the board.
- Ask Ss to look at the picture and the questions on the sub-board , then work in pairs to ask and answer the questions.
- Call some pairs to practice in front of the class.
- Correct their pronunciation, mistakes and give keys.

a) Write the correct expression.

- Hang the picture on page 124, ask Ss to look at it and do the exercise in individually.
- Call 5 Ss to write the correct expression under each picture.
- Correct and give keys.
b) Complete the dialogues.

. Use 4 sub-boards, written the dialogues on page 125.
- Hang the picture on page 125 on the board.
- Give 4 sub-boards for 4 groups, ask Ss to work in groups of 4 to complete the dialogues
- Collect their sub-boards and ask the groups to recommand each other.
- Call each group to give their answer by practicing their completed dialogue.
- Correct their mistakes and give keys.

- Ask Ss to work in pairs to practice the dialogues on page 126 in front of the class.
- Correct their mistakes if necessary.

- Hang the pictures on page 128, ask Ss to look at the pictures and complete the instructions by playing game:
“ Divide the class into 2 teams. Each team has 6 Ss participating the game. Each Student writes one verb to complete the sentence. The team finishes earlier and have more correct answers is winner.
