II. GRAMMAR
1. DESCRIPTIVE ADJECTIVES( Tính từ miêu tả)
* Tính từ miêu tả là những từ diễn tả màu sắc, kích thước, phẩm chất, trạng thái của một danh từ (người, vật, sự việc).
* Vị trí của tính từ:
S + am/ is/ are + Adj
S + am/ is + a/an +Adj +N
S + are + Adj + N(s/es)
- Đứng sau động từ Tobe nên bổ nghĩa cho chủ từ.
- Đứng trước danh từ nên bổ nghĩa cho danh từ đó.
Ex: Mai is beautiful. She is tall and thin . She is a goodstudent.
The houses are big. / They are big houses
2. TRẬT TỰ CÁC TÍNH TỪ MIÊU TẢ
Khi hai hoặc nhiều tính từ miêu tả được đứng trong cùng một câu, thì trật tự của chúng được sắp xếp như sau:
