- By the end of the lesson, the students will be able to use the phrases and structures to tell about personal hygiene.
2.1 Vocabulary: take morning exercise, get up, eat candy, take care of yourself, and iron your own clothes.
2.2 Structures: Use the past simple tense and simple tense.
3. Attitude towards 
- To educate students to learn English in the right way.

1. Activity 1: Warm up.

* Purpose: To help students get interest before going to the new lesson.
* Instruction: Questions and answers
- Ask Ss some questions about Hoa: 
Do you remember about Hoa? Where does she come from?
Where does she live now? Who does she live with?
Where do her parents live?
* Task:
- Form of learning: Individual work.
- Go to the board and answer.
- Evaluation: Marks.
- Suggested answers:

+ She lives with her aunt and uncle. + Her parents lives in Hue.
Activity 2. Pre-A1

* Purpose: To set up the context and pre-teach new words and new structure or grammar.
* Instruction:
- T set the scene.
- Introduce the lesson: “You know that Hoa lives with her aunt in Ha Noi and her parents live in Hue, so that they usually write letters to Hoa. Now you read the letter which Hoa’s mother sent her. Can you guess, what her mother wrote in the letter?”
- Ask students to listen to teacher, and then read silently it.

Those actions are called personal hygiene.

* Instruction:
- Have students read the text again, then ask them to answer the questions.
- Call on students to read in front of the class. Then give the keys.
*Task:
- Form of learning: Pair works.
- Call on some pairs to practice in front of the class.
- Resource: Books.
- Give feedback.
- Suggested answers:
a. Because it is nearly harvest time.
b. Hoa’s grandfather helps them on the farm.
