MỘT SỐ LÝ THUYẾT CẦN NHỚ
1.The way to use ( like , prefer, would you like + n / to ( infinitive )
 LIKE:
a) LIKE + V-ing : diễn tả sở thích của ai đó.
Eg: - She likes playing badminton.
 - Do you like listening to classical music ?
b) LIKE + toV-inf : diễn tả 1 việc làm như thói quen hay là sự lựa chọn.
Eg: I like to get up early so that I can do a lot of work before lunch.
Eg: I like to watch programs about teenagers in other countries.
PREFER.:
PREFER st TO st : thich .... hon .... (thich cai gi hon cai gi )
 Eg : - He prefers orange juice to lemon juice	
 b) PREFER + V-ing + TO + V-ing : (thich lam viec nay hon lam viec kia)
Eg: He prefers playing football to playing badminton.
c) PREFER + TO-inf. : thich lam gi hon (trong một tình huống cụ thể nào đó)
Eg: - Would you like to eat some fish ?
 - No, thanks. I prefer to eat meat.
Would you like + N ?: muèn mêi ai ®ã c¸i g×.
Eg: - Would you like some tea ?
 - Would you like a piece of cake ?
+ Agree : Yes, please.
+ Disagree: No, thanks. ( That’s kind of you )
*Would you like + to – inf.: - muèn mêi b¹n ®i ®©u hoÆc lµm g×. 
 Eg : - Would you like to go to the circus with me ?	
 - What would you like to watch ?
 ( Ban muon xem chuong trinh gi ? )
 - I’d like to watch the E. news.
2.Adjectives and adverbs.
a. Adjectives
Tính từ có thể đứng một trong hai vị trí: Một là thường đứng trước danh từ mà nó bổ nghĩa hoặc sau động từ cảm giác như feel, seem, look, taste, smell.
Adj + Noun
Ex: Mai is an intelligent student.
S+ be / V (cảm giác)+Adj 
Ex: He looks unhappy
 My house is small, but beautiful.
b. Adverbs
Cách thành lập trạng từ chỉ thể cách: 
+ Trạng từ chỉ thể cách được thành lập bằng cách thêm hậu tố ly vào sau tính từ.
Ex: safe -> safely
+ Các tính từ tận cùng là “e” câm ta bỏ “e” rồi thêm “ly”.
Ex: possible-> possibly
+ Một số tính từ và trạng từ giống nhau như: late, hard, early, fast
