TAG QUESTIONS
I. PHẦN LÍ THUYẾT
 A/ọ Trước khẳng định, sau phủ định và ngược lại
 Peter helped you, didn’t he?	He isn’t here now, is he?
 You have been there for a long time, haven’t you?
ọKhụng dựng danh từ riờng (tờn riờng) trong cõu hỏi đuụi, mà phải dựng đại từ nhõn xưng thay thế.
 Ex: Mary is beautiful, isn’t she? Khụng được dựng: Mary is beautiful, isn’t Mary?
 His parents are old, aren’t they? Khụng được dựng: His parents are old, aren’t his parents ?
 B/ Một số trường hợp cần chỳ ý:
ọ Khi chủ từ trong mệnh đề chớnh là anyone, anybody, no one, no body, none, neither thỡ chủ từ cõu hỏi đuụi là they.
 Ex: No one knows, do they?	Neither of them complaint, did they?
ọ Nếu mệnh đề chớnh cú cỏc từ phủ định như neither, no, none, no one, no body, nothing, rarely, hardly, seldom, never, no longer  thỡ cõu hỏi đuụi ở thể khẳng định.
 Ex: Nothing was sold, was it?	Peter hardly goes to the party, does he?
 No one went out, did they?
ọ Everyone /everybody/ someone/anybody, nobody, someone ,.they ? 
 Ex: Everyone is at home, aren’t they?
 Nobody asked for me, did they?
ọ Everything/ something/nothing ............	, .......... it ?
 Ex: Nothing bad happened, did it?
ọNếu chủ từ là this, that thỡ chủ từ trong cõu hỏi đuụi cú thể là it, he, she.
 Ex: That is a very interesting film, isn’t it?
 That is your new boy friend, isn’t he?
 This is a very beautiful girl, isn’t she?
ọ Nếu chủ từ là these, those thỡ chủ từ trong cõu hỏi đuụi là they
 Ex: These books are new, aren’t they?
ọ Hỡnh thức cõu hỏi đuụi của I am .., aren’t I? ( I am not . , amI ) 
 Ex: I am late, aren’t I? 	
 I am not poor, am I?
ọ Cõu mệnh lệnh ( khụng cú chủ từ, cú not hay khụng cũng dựng will you ) 
 Ex: Go out with me, will you ? Come in, will you? ( cõu mệnh lệnh )
 Don't take it, will you ? Don’t do that, will you? Don’t speak, will you?
 ọ -Khi dựng let’s với ý nghĩa rủ rờ, thỡ phần đuụi sẽ là “shall we”
 Ex: Let's go, shall we? Let’s go for a walk, shall we? Let's pray, shall we?
 Let’s not study now, shall we?
 -Khi dựng let để xin phộp, thỡ phần đuụi sẽ là “will you”
 Ex: Let me eat this cake, will you ?
 -Khi dựng let để đề nghị giỳp đỡ người khỏc, thỡ phần đuụi sẽ là “may I”.
 Ex: Let me help you, may I?
ọ Mệnh đề chớnh chỉ lời mời, phần đuụi là "won't you?" 
 Ex: Take your seat, won't you?
