UNIT 3 :	 LET’S LEARN (4)
I. Aims: helps sts know about asking and answering about objects.
II. Structures: introduce “ This is a / These are ”
III. Vocabulary: a crayon / crayons / a table / tables.
IV. Materials : Teacher’s cards, name’s cards , puppets, CD,
V. Techniques : Pairwork, groupwork,

 A. Warm up and review :
 - T play the song “ The hello song”
 - T asks sts to listen and sing .
	 - T divides class into 2 groups , practice singing
	 - T gives comments.
 B. Present new lesson :( giới thiệu bài mới)
 Show the article:
- T shows the article. 
	“Let’s Learn (4)”
- T reads .
	- T calls 4 sts to repeat, then all the class.
- Sts listen and repeat.
	- T corrects.
	Activity 1 : ( ôn tập đồ vật)
 - Shows the pictures on the board.
 + a crayon - crayons
 + a pencilcase – pencilcases.
 + a table - tables
 + a cassette - cassettes 
 + a marker - markers
 + a notebook - notebooks. 
 - T points to pictures , sts say.
 - T asks sts to practice in pairs.( one points, one says)
 - T gives comments.
	Activity 2 : ( giới thiệu this is )
 a) T uses puppets.. 
- Puppets ask and answer:
	Puppet A : This is a book.
	Puppet B : This is a bag
 Puppet B : This is a crayon
	Puppet A : This is a marker.
	b) T and sts make a model :
	T : This is a book.
	Sts : This is a bag
 T : This is a crayon
	Sts : This is a marker.
 Activity 3 : ( giới thiệu these are )
 a) T uses puppets.. 
- Puppets ask and answer:
	Puppet A : These are books.
	Puppet B : These are bags
 Puppet B : These are crayons
	Puppet A : These are markers.
	b) T and sts make a model :
	T : These are books.
	Sts : These are bags.
 T : These are crayons
	Sts : These are markers.
	Activity 4 : ( luyện tập)
	a) Divide class into 2 groups. 
- T ask sts : One is black cat , one is yellow cat.
	- T ask sts to use “ This is  / These are ” and objects to practice .
 G1 : This is a marker
	G2 : These are notebooks.
 G1 : These are crayons.
	G2 : These are pencilcases .
 - Sts change their roles.
	- T gives comments.
	b)T asks sts to practice in pairs and change their roles.
 S1 : This is a marker
	S2 : These are notebooks.
 S1 : These are crayons.
	S2 : These are pencilcases .
 - T gives comments.
 C. Consolidation :(Củng cố)
	- T asks sts to tell what lesson they have learnt.
	T: What lesson have you learnt ?
	Sts : Let’s Learn (4).
	- T shows and guides the game.( Bingo)
- Divide class into 2 groups .
- T will show 3 kinds of objects. Sts in each group will pick up a number then says the objects. 
( Using this is  / These are )
- T controls the game.
- T gives comments.
D.Remind : (nhắc nhở)
	- T ask sts to practice more at home.

- T reads .
	- T calls 5 sts to repeat, then all the class.
- T asks sts to listen and repeat.

	b.( hướng dẫn bài hát)
 - T plays the CD first.
 - T plays one by one sentence.
 - T sings and asks to do as him.
 - T sings the whole song.
 c. ( luyện tập bài hát)
	- Divide class into 6 groups .
 - Asks sts to sing together.
 - Sing , change roles.
 - Continue change the group.
 - Sing more.
