Warm up: Quiz - Divide class in to groups. - Asks them to look at the clothes people are wearing and take turn to decide where each person comes from: Example: T :Where does the woman in picture a come from? S: She comes from Japan T. How do you know she come from Japan? S : Because she is wearing a Kimono. The group who gives the correct answer, gets a point. *Answer keys: b. She comes from Vietnam. c. He comes from Scotland.( He`s wearing a kilt) d. She comes from India.( She is wearing a sari) e. He comes from the U.S.A.( He`s wearing Jeans) f. She comes from ( saudi) Arabia.( She`s wearing a veil). 2. Set the scene: - T. points to the picture b) and asks: - What is she wearing? ( Ao Dai ) - Is she beautiful? - What is Ao Dai like? T: Ao Dai is the traditional dress of Vietnamese women. What have fashion dasigners done to modernise the ao dai? - They have printed lines of poetry on it or have added symbols. III.Introduction of present tense. (Revision). Example: They have printed lines of poetry on it. *Form: S + have / has + V(pp). *Use: The action starts in the past and reach the present. IV. Practice; - T. runs through the cues. a. I / visit / Hanoi. b. She / eat / this food. c. We / be / in swimming pool. d. He / see / that film. V. Production: - Discussion about “ ao dai” ? Do you like ao dai. ? Why / why not. ? Should ao dai become uniform at school or at work. VI. Homework: - Learn by heart vocabulary. - Write something about ao dai.
