A/ Aims: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to read a text about the life and activities in the countryside.
- Introduce the model “could” with “wish”.
* Teaching aids: Poster , picture.
B/ Content:
I. Pre – reading.
1.Warm up :	Describe the picture.
- Ask Ss to look at the pictures and describe what the people are doing in the pictures.
- Picture 	1 : watering the vegetables.
	2: swimming.
	3 : feeding the chicken
	4 : harvesting.
	5 : feeding the pig.
	6 : 
	7 : skiting
	8 : playing football.
2. Pre- teach vocabulary:
- homevillage (n) : quê nhà	(trans)
- bamboo (n) : 	cây tre	(visual)
- banyan (n) : 	cây đa	(explanation)
- shrine (n) : 	đền thờ, miếu	(visual)
- riverbank (n) : 	bờ sông	(visual)
- entrance (n) : 	lối vào.	(explanation)
*Checking : R.O.R
3. True or false statements:
1. Ba and his family had a two days trip to their home village.
2. many people like going there for their weekends.
3. There is a small bamboo forest at the entrance to the village.
4. There is a shrine on the mountain near Ba’s village.
5. People had a picnic on the mountain.
6. Liz had a video tape to show the tape for her parents.
7 Lis want to go there again.

- Reanswer all the exercise in notebook.
- Do exercise 1, 2 in workbook.
- Prepare for speaking lesson.
