 - By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to know the new theme: The food, and learn the new words about the fruit, meat, vegetables.

- Ask Ss to look at the pictures on page 114, 115, then answer the question:
. How many kinds of fruits/ food have you known in English in the picture?
- Set the scene: “Now you continue looking at the pictures and make a list of the fruits/ food which you have not known their English names in Vietnamese”
- Give their meaning in English.

- Set the scene: “You are going to listen to the conversation between Hoa and her aunt in the market. After hearing the conversation, you will know what they bought.”
- Play the tape three times, ask Ss to listen to the tape.
- Call 3 pairs to practice 3 conversations.
- Correct their pronunciation.
- Ask Ss to work in groups to answer the question: What did Hoa and her aunt buy at the market?
- Call each group to give their answers.
- Correct their mistakes and give keys.
 (+) A2 - P.115. Ask and answer. Talk about the food you like.
- Set the scene: “Now you work in pairs, ask and answer about the fruits, food which you like or dislike. At the same time, you express the agreement using so, too, either, neither.”
- Call some pairs to practice in front of the class.
- Correct their mistakes if necessary.
