 * Question: Practice the asking and answering the distance ( 4 places ).

* Warm up.

- Ask Ss to answer some questions:
+ How far is it from your house to school?
+ How far is it from your house to the market?
+ How far is it from your house to the movie theater?
* Practice.
- Introduce new model sentences:

I'd like = I would like.
+ How much do/ does/ is/ are + S +cost

- change: tiền thừa, tiền lẻ
- altogether: tổng cộng, tính gộp lại
- clerk: nhân viên bưu điện
- Ask Ss to give some examples with these structures.
* Practice.

. Use the tape and cassette.
- Set the scene: “You will hear a conversation in the post office. You listen to the tape and answer the questions in your book.”
- Play the tape twice, then ask Ss to listen to the tape.
- Ask Ss to work in pairs to answer the questions on page 84.
- Call some pairs to give their answers.
- Correct their mistakes if necessary.
- Ask Ss to discuss in groups to answer the questions part “About you”
- Call on some Ss to give their answers in front of the classl.
- Correct their mistakes if necessary.
