 A new study shows that women can reduce their chances of developing heart disease by jogging for about three hours every week. The researchers at Harvard University Medical in Boston have just reported the results of the study on the New England Journal of Medicine. It's been over two years now, but I still remember every detail of that day. It was a beautiful warm sunny clear sky day. I had to go to work and then had class at Hunter College that night. Little did I know what would await me that morning. When I got off my car, I found that the building was being evacuated and no one could tell me why. I could not find anyone that I worked with. There were hundreds of people just gathering around. No one knew exactly what had happened. Then someone said that there was a timing bomb in the building and the police were trying to dispose it. The world went totally black and soundless, I never heard the building fall, I could not see, nor hear, nor feel, just smell and taste were left. I could not breathe or think, nothing, the world just disappeared in an instant. I eventually made it out and home, but I have never been the same since. I lost a major part of my life that day, my girlfriend, Lynne.

No one knows the limits of population that the earth can support. Thomas Malthus, an English economist, developed a theory that became widely accepted in the nineteenth century. He suggested that because world population tended to increase more rapidly than the food supply, a continual strain was exerted upon available resources.
