Activity 1: Listen and write the words with sounds /dr/ and /tr/ in the correct column (Ex.4, p.40) - Ask Ss to look through the chants. - Play the recording for Ss to listen once. - Ask Ss to listen and repeat the chants sentence by sentence and call two Ss to read the chants again. - Ask Ss to write the words into the correct column then compare their answers with their partner. - Call some Ss to present their answers. * Answers: /dr/: dry, drops, drip, dripping. /tr/: Countryside, travel, train, tractor, track.
