Sir Alex Ferguson (born on 31st December 1941 in Glassgow, Scotland) is a Scottish football player and manager who managed Manchester United from 1986 to 2013. His time at the club has made him the most admired and respected manager in the history of the club.
The football clubs that Ferguson managed from 1974 to 1986 were East Stirlingshire, St. Mirren and Aberdeen. After managing Scotland national team , he was appointed manager of Manchester United in November 1986 . Ferguson is the longest serving manager of the Year most times in British football history. 
On 8th May 2013, Ferguson announced his retirement as manager of Manchester United. During his time at the club , he won 38 trophies , including 13 Premier League and 2 UEFA Champions League titles
