Each country has different days to celebrate this special occasion. The last Friday in October is celebrated as World Teacher’s day in Australia. In China, September 10 was chosen to be the teacher’s Day, but a lot of people are trying to change this day back to the birthday of Confucius. In the USA, Teacher’s Day is a non-official holiday on the Tuesday of the first full week of May. In Vietnam, Teacher’s Day falls on November 20 and is one of the most popular holidays. This holiday allows students to express their respect and their gratitude to their teachers. They often prepare many activities to welcome this day and visit their teachers.
