 Solar energy
 Fossil energy source on Earth is being depleted. Therefore, we desperately need alternative energy source. Especially green ones; in which, we can’t miss solar energy which is an important invention of the energy industry.
 Solar cell is the device which transforms light energy into electrical energy. Basic princioles of solar cell were found out in 1839 by a French physicist Alexandre Edmond Becquerel. In 1883, Charles Fritts created a kind of solar battery, but such invention just got 1% of efficiency. In 1946, Russell Ohl invented the first solar cell. After that , people had paid more attention to solar cell. However, they hadn’t taken advantages of the inventtion until 1973 due to the oil crisis.
 In 2010, the total capacity of solar battery in the world reached 37.4GW and has continued to increase. This has been a significant energy source to replace fossil one in the future.
