English has been called an international language for more than a century and a half. The number of people who speak English as their mother tongue has been estimated at between three hundred millions and four hundred millions. It is considered as an official language in many countries. In Viet Nam we use English as an official second language. Most of children learn English at school. English is also a compulsory subject for students in many universities. Even a lot of adults continue to learn it in many courses or evening classes. Most of them learn English because it is very necessary for their jobs.
