Many people still believe that natural recources will never be used up. Actually, the world’s energy recources are limited. Nobody knows exactly how much fuel is left. However, we also should use them economically and try to find out alternative sources of power. According to Professor Marvin Burnham of the New England Institue of Technology, we have to conserving coal, oil and gas before it is too late; and nuclear power is the only alternative.
However, many people do not approve of using nuclear power because it’s very dangerous. What would happen if there was a serious nuclear accident? Radioactivity causes cancer and may badly affect the future generations.
The most effective thing is that we should use natural recources as economical as possible.
True or False

... 2. We don’t know exactly how much fuel is left.
... 3. According to Mr Burnham, there is no substitution for coal, gas and oil.

People are all slowly destroying the earth. The seas and rivers are too dirty to swim in. There is too much smoke in the air that is unhealthy to live in many of the world’s cities. In big cities, poisonous gases from cars pollute air so much that traffic policemen have to wear oxygen masks. We have cut down so many trees and as a result, there are floods, droughts every year. Wild animals are in danger, too, because there is no environment for them. Some of them even disappeared. However, it is not only talking about the problem. We must save the world. This is an important duty nowadays.
Questions:
