Christmas is an important festival in many countries around the world. On Christmas Eve there is a man that children all over the world love very much. He is Santa Claus. Santa Claus is based on the description of Saint Nicholas in the poem called A Visit From Saint Nicholas written by Clement Clarke Moore, an American professor. The character in the poem was a fat jolly man who wore a red suit and gave children presents on Christmas Eve.
