 I think it is necessary for secondary school students to wear uniforms at school. Firstly, wearing uniforms encourages students to be proud of their schools. Secondly, wearing uniforms helps students feel equal in many ways, whether they are rich or poor. Finally, wearing uniforms is practical. You don’t have to think of what to wear every day. Therefore, secondary school students should wear uniforms.
Topic 2: How to protect our environment.
 + Plant trees everywhere.
 + Put garbage bins in public places.
 + Travel by bikes or public transports.
 There are many ways to protect our environment. Firstly, we should plant trees everywhere. For example, we can plant them around school yards, along the roads, in the parks,  . Secondly, we should put the garbage bins in public places. Finally, we should travel by public buses instead of motorbikes because going by public buses will reduce air and noise pollution. To sum up, we have a lot of ways to keep our environment clean.
Topic 3: What should we do to save energy.
 + Turn off all electric appliances when we don’t use them ( to save electricity).
 + Turn off the faucets tightly ( to save water).
 + Travel by bike or public transports ( to save petrol )
 There are many ways to save energy. Firstly, we should turn off all electric appliances such as lights, air conditioners, televisions, fans, computers,  when we don’t use them. Secondly, we should turn off the faucets tightly when we go out. Moreover, we should take shower instead of bathing. Finally, we should travel by public buses, by bikes or on foot to save petrol. Therefore, we should save energy to protect the Earth’s resources.

Topic 4: Why do we learn English?//The importance of English.
 + English is a mean of communication.
 + English is useful for finding a good job.

 Nowadays, English plays an important role in our life. Firstly, it is a mean of communication. If we know English, we can speak to the foreigners and understand what they say. Secondly, English is useful for us to find a good job. For example, we are good at English, we can work for foreign companies to get high salary. Finally, English is necessary to get information because many books, newspapers, news,  use English. Therefore, English is very important in our life.

Topic 5: Why do you like Tet.//Your favorite celebration.
 + “ Tet ” is time for people to meet their friends and relatives.
 + “ Tet ” is time for people to taste traditional food
 + “ Tet ” is time for people to decorate their house, buy new clothes, .
 Although there are many celebrations throughout a year, but I like “Tet” best. Firstly, it is time for people to meet their friends and relatives. At Tet, people who live apart try to be together, visit relatives to give best wishes and receive lucky money. Secondly, at Tet people can taste traditional food such as: sticky-rice cakes, spring rolls, candy and some kind of fruit. Thirdly, people spend much time doing something for Tet such as: decorate the house, going shopping to buy flowers, new clothes,  . Therefore, this is reason why I like “Tet” best.

 + The Internet is a source of information.

 Internet has increasingly developed and become part of our daily life. Firstly, the Internet is a source of information. We can get information fast. We can watch news, read articles and watch the weather forecast. Secondly, the Internet is a source of entertainment. For example, we can listen to music, play games, chat with our friends, . Finally, it is a mean of education. We can attend online schools and study online lessons. Moreover, we can look up English words easily. Therefore, the Internet is a wonderful invention of our modern life.

Topic 7: A picnic you like best.
 Last summer vacation, I went a picnic to Ao Vua with my classmates. We went there by bus. It took us 3 hours to get there. We brought a lot of food, drink, many tents, cameras and a guitar. We went there at 8 o’clock in the morning. We climbed on the mountain and went swimming. We sang some songs and played games while Tin was playing guitar. He played very well. We took a lot of photos too. We came back home at 9 o’clock p.m. Everyone felt very happy.
Topic 8: How to save electricity.

 There are many ways to save electricity. Firstly, we should turn off all electric appliances such as lights, fans, air conditioners, televisions, when we don’t use them.  There are many activities in our school at recess such as skipping, playing chess, playing soccer, reading,  . For me, I like best is talking. Talking help us relax after hard working lessons. I usually talk about the lessons or difficult exercises. Sometimes, we talk about the famous films, stars, news,  . I sometimes share my friends about my family or other things. To sum up, talking helps us relax and improve our knowledge.

Topic 10: Your best friend.

 I have a lot of friends at school as well as at home but my best friend is . She is one of my classmates. She is 15 years old. She is tall and thin. She looks beautiful with long straight hair. She lives next door to me, so we have been friends since we were small and we go to school together everyday. She is always a good student. She is good at all subjects but her favorite subjects are Math and English. Although she is busy, she always helps me with my homework. And now, we always share every things together. I love her so much.
 On my first day at school, I saw a lot of strange people, and one of them now is my best friend, his name is Tin. We are very close. He is 15 years old and he is one of my classmates. He is tall and thin. He is a really good friend. At school, he always smiles, talks with everyone judicially. He is sociable. He is an intelligent man. Although we don’t live in the same village, we always go to school and come back home together. He learns very hard, he is a good student. Of all subjects at school, he likes Math and Physics best. Sometimes, we play chess when we are free. Tin is a good player too. I am very happy because I have a good friend and a great friendship. That good friend is Tin.

 Reducing garbage is one of the most important things to keep our environment clean and save natural resources. We can reduce garbage by many ways. Firstly, each people should reduce amount of garbage that we waste every day. Secondly, we should reuse old newspapers, magazines, plastic bags. Thirdly, we should recycle some things such as bottles, cans, . If we follow these rules, not only will we save money, but also our environment will be cleaner.
Topic 12: The importance of learning English.//Why do we learn English?
 + English is a compulsory subject.
 + English is also the subject which we have to take part in the entrance exams.
 + English helps us have good changes about jobs.
 Of all my subjects at school I like English best because some reasons. Firstly, English is a compulsory subject at school. We have to learn it well to get good grade. On the other hand, it is a subject we have to take part in the entrance exam to university. Secondly, if we know English well we can find a good job. Moreover, English is an international language. Many foreign companies want to employ people who know English and they pay high salary. In conclusion, English is my favorite subject because of some reasons above English.

 + Clean the school yard and the classrooms.

 There are many ways to keep our school clean. Firstly, we should clean the school yard and the classrooms because a clean school is an idea place for us to learn. Secondly, we should put the garbage bins around our school. Thirdly, we shouldn’t throw the garbage away. Therefore, we should keep the school green and clean and beautiful everyday.
Topic 14: Some effective ways to learn English.
 + Learn new words, try to understand English tenses, English structures, .
 + Liste to music, tapes, news, in English.
 + Practice speaking English with our friends.
 + Go to English speaking club.
 There are many effective ways to learn English. For me, I always do all the homework. I learn new words very often. Then I try to understand English tenses, English structures, model sentences,  . Moreover, I listen to tapes, news, songs,  in English. I often speak English with my friends in class. At the weekend, I often come to English speaking club. I spend much time studying English at school as well as at home. To sum up, we use the ways above to learn English the most effectively.
Topic 15: Disadvantages of Internet.
 + We can waste much time.
 + We can be addicted.
 There are some disadvantages of Internet. Firstly, we can waste too much time. Some people spend much time playing games, chatting, surfing the webs,  . Secondly, Internet users can personal information. Thirdly, Internet users can be addicted, so we shouldn’t spend it too much. To sum up, Internet has a lot of disadvantages too.
Topic 16: A trip to the countryside.
 Last summer vacation, our class had an unforgetable trip to the countryside. We got there by bike because we wanted to have more fun. The scenery was wonderful. We could see many green paddy fields, some bamboo forests when we were enjoying the peace of the countryside. At the entrange to the village, we were very excited because of a really big banyan tree. We sat around the tree, took a rest and had some snack. After that, we climbed to the top of the mountain. From up there, we could see whole the village and some farmers working on the fields. That is also the place where we had lunch and played. That day, it’s cloudy so we felt cool and comfortable, the air was so fresh, very different from the city. Every things sounded quietly so we like playing there very much. In the afternoon, we climbed down and entered the village. But before going, we collected all the garbage and put them into the waste basket. At the end of that day, we went home with so much gifts for our parents. We all felt sad but it was alright because we thought that: someday, maybe we can go back to the countryside again. That was a wonderful day.
Topic 17: What will you do to help the poor?

 There are many poor people around us, so our responsibility is helping them. Firstly, we raise fund for the poor, help them have more money to make a living. Secondly, we should come and visit them sometimes, encourage them to live better and before leaving, we give them some gifts to make them happy. Finally, we must help them find good jobs, to earn enough money for their life. To sum up, we have many ways to help the poor.

 I think we should wear casual clothes every where because of some reasons. Firstly, wearing casual clothes helps us feel more comfortable because of their material. Secondly, wearing casual clothes gives us more choices about size, color, style, so we can wear our favorite clothes. Thirdly, wearing casual clothes helps us feel more confident. Therefore, we should wear casual clothes.

Topic 19: Wearing “ ao dai ” at work.

 + Not have to think of what to wear every morning.
 “ Ao dai ” is one of Vietnamese traditional clothes, so I think that wearing “ ao dai ” at work is very necessary. Firstly, “ ao dai ” makes women to be more beautiful. Secondly, wearing “ ao dai ” at work helps us to be proud of our traditions. Thirdly, wearing “ ao dai ” at work is pratical. We don’t have to think of what to wear every morning. They are the reasons why I think wearing “ ao dai ” at work is necessary.

 + The air is polluted.
 + People living in the city is not friendly.
 I don’t like living in the city, that is my opinion. Firstly, the city is too noisy. Motorbikes, cars, trucks, are too much, they never stop making noise even at night. Secondly, the air in the city is very polluted because of smoke from factories and transports. Thirdly, people living in the city isn’t as friendly as people living in the countryside. Therefore, I don’t like living in the city. How about you?

 I like living in the countryside, that is my opinion. Firstly, the air in the countryside is very fresh, countryside is peaceful and quiet too, very different from the city. Secondly, the scenery of the countryside is very beautiful with many green paddy fields, bamboo forests, flying kites, . People living in the countryside is very kind and friendly. They are very hard. They work on the fields without caring about weather. Therefore, I like living in the countryside. How about you?

 Although there are many festivals throughout the year, I like the Mid – fall festval most. Because of some reasons. Firstly, I can taste the special cake called “ Banh Trung Thu ” with some kinds of fruit and candies. Secondly, I can wear marks and sit with my family to see the Moon. Thirdly, I can sing some songs about this festival such as “ Ruoc den ong sao ”, “ Dem sao ” with my family. Therefore, I like the Mid – fall festival ery much.

 Facebook has become the most popular web because it’s very useful, mostly in school life. Most of people use Facebook as a source of communication. We can chat with our friends wherever we are. We chat about lessons, tests, homewook, . Facebook is also a place where we can share pictures about our families, friends or some difficult exercises. We can use Facebook to read the news too. To sum up, there are many benefits of the Facebook in school life.

Therefore, I spend my free time suitablely.
