 I think it is necessary for secondary school students to wear uniforms at school. Firstly, wearing uniforms encourages students to be proud of their schools. Secondly, wearing uniforms helps students feel equal in many ways, whether they are rich or poor. Finally, wearing uniforms is practical. You don’t have to think of what to wear every day. Therefore, secondary school students should wear uniforms.

 I think we should wear casual clothes every where because of some reasons. Firstly, wearing casual clothes helps us feel more comfortable because of their material. Secondly, wearing casual clothes gives us more choices about sizes, colors, styles, so we can wear our favorite clothes. Thirdly, wearing casual clothes helps us feel more confident. Therefore, we should wear casual clothes.

 “ Ao dai ” is one of Vietnamese traditional clothes, so I think that wearing “ ao dai ” at work is very necessary. Firstly, “ ao dai ” makes women to be more beautiful. Secondly, wearing “ ao dai ” at work helps us to be proud of our traditions. Thirdly, wearing “ ao dai ” at work is pratical. We don’t have to think of what to wear every morning. They are the reasons why I think wearing “ ao dai ” at work is necessary.
Topic 5: A trip to the countryside.
 Last summer vacation, our class had an unforgetable trip to the countryside. We got there by bike. The scenery was wonderful. We could see many green paddy fields, some bamboo forests when we were enjoying the peace of the countryside. At the entrange to the village, we were very excited because of a really big banyan tree. We sat around the tree, took a rest and had some snack. After that, we climbed to the top of the mountain. From up there, we could see whole the village and some farmers working on the farms. That is also the place where we had lunch and played. That day, it’s cloudy so we felt cool and comfortable, the air was so fresh too, so we like playing there very much. In the afternoon, we climbed down and entered the village. But before going, we collected all the garbage and put them into the waste basket. At the end of that day, we went home with so much gifts for our parents. We were very happy.
Topic 6: A picnic you like best.
 Last summer vacation, I went a picnic to Ao Vua with my classmates. We went there by bus. It took us three hours to get there. We brought a lot of food, drinks, many tents, cameras and a guitar. We went there at 8 o’clock in the morning. We climbed on the mountain and went swimming. We sang some songs and played games while Tin was playing guitar. He played very well. We took a lot of photos too. We came back home at nine o’clock p.m. Everyone felt very happy.
Topic 7: Your favorite subject at school.

 Of all my subjects at school, I like English most because of some reasons. Firstly, English is an interesting language. The more I learn, the more I find it interesting. Secondly, there are many books which are written in English too and I like reading them very much such as “ Harry Potter ”, “ Sherlock Holmes ”, . And I also like listening to English songs, especially Pop songs. They are the reasons why I like English best.
Topic 8: Some effective ways to learn English.

 + Practise speaking English with our friends.

 There are many effective ways to learn English. For me, I always do all the homework. I learn new words very often. Then I try to understand English tenses, English structures, model sentences,  . Moreover, I listen to tapes, news, songs,  in English. I often speak English with my friends in class. At the weekend, I often come to English speaking club. I spend much time studying English at school as well as at home. To sum up, we use the ways above to learn English the most effectively.
Topic 9: Why do we learn English?
 + English is a compulsory subject.
 + English is also the subject which we have to take part in the entrance exam.
 + English helps us have good changes about jobs.
 Of all my subjects at school I like English best because of some reasons. Firstly, English is a compulsory subject at school. We have to learn it well to get good grades. On the other hand, it is a subject which we have to take part in the entrance exam to universities. Secondly, if we know English well, we can find a good job. Moreover, English is an international language. Many foreign companies want to employ people who know English and they pay high salary. In conclusion, English is my favorite subject because of some reasons above English.

 Nowadays, English plays an important role in our life. Firstly, it is a mean of communication. If we know English, we can speak to the foreigners and understand what they say. Secondly, English is useful for us to find a good job. For example, we are good at English, we can work for foreign companies to get high salary. Finally, English is necessary to get information because many books, newspapers, magazines,  use English. Therefore, English is very important in our life.

Finally, it is a mean of education. We can attend online schools and study online lessons. Moreover, we can look up English words easily. Therefore, the Internet is a wonderful invention of our modern life.

 There are some disadvantages of Internet. Firstly, we can waste too much time. Some people spend much time playing games, chatting, surfing the webs,  . Secondly, Internet users can be leaked of personal information. Thirdly, Internet users can be addicted, so we shouldn’t spend it too much. To sum up, Internet has a lot of disadvantages too.

 Facebook has become the most popular web because it’s very useful, mostly in school life. Most of people use Facebook as a mean of communication. We can chat with our friends wherever we are. We chat about lessons, tests, homework, . Facebook is also a place where we can share pictures about our families, our friends or some difficult exercises. We can use Facebook to read the news too. To sum up, there are many benefits of the Facebook in school life.
Topic 14: How to protect our environment.
 + Plant trees everywhere.

 + Travel by bikes or public transports.
 There are many ways to protect our environment. Firstly, we should plant trees everywhere. For example, we can plant them around school yards, along the roads, in the parks,  . Secondly, we should put the garbage bins in public places. Finally, we should travel by public buses instead of motorbikes because going by public buses will reduce air and noise pollution. To sum up, we have a lot of ways to keep our environment clean.
Topic 15: How to keep our school clean.

 + Not to throw the garbage away.
 There are many ways to keep our school clean. Firstly, we should clean the school yard and the classrooms every morning because a clean school is an idea place for us to learn. Secondly, we should put the garbage bins around our school yard. Thirdly, we shouldn’t throw the garbage away. Therefore, we should keep the school green, clean and beautiful everyday.

 Reducing garbage is one of the most important things to keep our environment clean and save natural resources. We can reduce garbage by many ways. Firstly, each people should reduce amount of garbage that we waste every day. Secondly, we should reuse old newspapers, magazines, plastic bags. Thirdly, we should recycle some things such as bottles, cans, . If we follow these rules, not only we will save money, but also our environment will be cleaner.
Topic 17: What should we do to save energy.
 + Turn off all electric appliances when we don’t use them ( to save electricity).
 + Turn off the faucets tightly, take a shower instead of bathing ( to save water).
 + Travel by bike or public transports ( to save petrol )
 There are many ways to save energy. Firstly, we should turn off all electric appliances such as lights, air conditioners, televisions, fans, computers,  when we don’t use them. Secondly, we should turn off the faucets tightly when we go out. Moreover, we should take a shower instead of bathing. Finally, we should travel by public buses, by bikes or on foot to save petrol. Therefore, we should save energy to protect the Earth’s resources.

 There are many ways to save electricity. Firstly, we should turn off all electric appliances such as lights, fans, air conditioners, televisions, when we don’t use them. Secondly, we should use energy – saving bulbs instead of normal bulbs. Thirdly, we should use solar energy. To sum up, we should save electricity to conserve the Earth’s resources.

Topic 19: Why do you like Tet?//Your favorite celebration.
 + I don’t have to care about homework.
 + I can put on new clothes.
 + I can taste traditional food ( Sticky rice cake, spring roll, ).
 + I can receive lucky money.
 Although there are many celebrations throughout a year, but I like “ Tet ” best. Firstly, at “ Tet ”, I don’t have to care about homework because I think that it’s the time for relaxing. Secondly, I can put on my new clothes. Moreover, I can taste traditional food such as sticky rice cake, spring roll, . Thirdly, on the first day of New Year, I can receive lucky money. This is the old custom that all Vietnamese children like. They are the reasons why I like “ Tet ”.

 + I can taste the special cake called “ Banh Trung Thu ”.
 + I can wear marks and sit with my family to see the Moon.

 Although there are many festivals throughout the year, I like the Mid – fall festival most. Because of some reasons. Firstly, I can taste the special cake named “ Banh Trung Thu ” with some kinds of fruit and candies. Secondly, I can wear marks and sit with my family to see the Moon.  There are many activities in our school at recess such as skipping, playing chess, playing soccer, reading,  . For me, I like best is talking. Talking help us relax after hard working lessons. I usually talk about the lessons or difficult exercises. Sometimes, we talk about a match, famous films, stars, news,  . I sometimes share with my friends about my family or other things. To sum up, talking helps us relax and improve our knowledge.

 In my free time, I do a lot of things. For example, I always help my parents with the housework such as cooking meal, cleaning the house, washing the dishes and clothes, . Sometimes, I listen to music, watch TV, read magazines or play sports with my friends.. At the weekend, I often visit my friends and my relatives. We always help the poor in our neighborhood too. Therefore, I spend my free time suitablely.
Topic 23: What will you do to help the poor?

 + Before leaving, give them some gifts.
 + Help them find good jobs.
 There are many poor people around us, so helping them is very necessary. Firstly, we raise fund for the poor, help them have more money to make a living. Secondly, we should come and visit them, encourage them to live better and before leaving, we give them some gifts to make them happy. Finally, we must help them find good jobs, to earn enough money for their life. To sum up, we have many ways to help the poor.

Topic 24: A historical place you have visited.
 ( Uncle Ho Mausoleum )
 + The mausoleum ( was built by rock in 1971 at the center ).
 + A large pond named “ Ao Bac ”.
 + A bamboo house, where Uncle Ho used to live in.
 I have visited many historical places, but I like visiting the Uncle Ho Mausolium most. This place is very large. We can see the mausoleum, which was built by rock in 1971 at the center of Ba Dinh Square. Around the mausoleum, there are many beautiful trees, expecially bamboos. Nearby the mausoleum, there is a large pond named “ Ao Bac ”, it’s in front of a bamboo house, where Uncle Ho used to live in. Under the water, there are many goldfishes. They look very beautiful. After leaving, I always want to come back again.

Topic 25: You like or dislike living in the city?

 + Find a good school to learn at easily.
 + Finding a good job isn’t too difficult.
 + There are many parks, zoos, specially water parks ( for relaxing at the weekend ).
 I like to live in the city because of some reasons. Firstly, the city has many good schools for me to attend. Secondly, it’s not too difficult for me to find a good job with high salary. There are many jobs for me to choose such as to be a worker, a doctor or a teacher. Thirdly, there are many beautiful parks, zoos, specially water parks. I can choose one of these places to relax at the weekend. Therefore, I like to live in the city.

 + The air is polluted.
 + People living in the city is not friendly.
 I don’t like to live in the city, that is my opinion. Firstly, the city is too noisy. Motorbikes, cars, trucks, are too much, they never stop making noise even at night. Secondly, the air in the city is very polluted because of smoke from factories and vehicles. Thirdly, people living in the city isn’t as friendly as people living in the countryside. Therefore, I don’t like to live in the city. How about you?

 I like to live in the countryside, that is my opinion. Firstly, the air in the countryside is very fresh, the countryside is peaceful and quiet too. Secondly, the scenery of the countryside is very beautiful with many green paddy fields, bamboo forests, flying kites, . People living in the countryside is very kind and friendly. They are very hard. They work on the fields without caring about weather. Therefore, I like to live in the countryside. How about you?

 + There aren’t many good schools.

 I don’t like to live in the countryside because of some reasons. Firstly, in the countryside, there are not many good schools to attend. There isn’t any university in the countryside too. Secondly, finding a good job is not easy because the economic here doesn’t develop. Thirdly, people living in the countryside is backward. To sum up, they are the reasons why I don’t like to live in the countryside.

*Topic 27: Your memory of heavy storm which you remember forever.
 + Everyone stay inside.
 + Strong wind, heavy rain, dark clouds.
 + Strong wind made many big trees fall down, they crossed the streets.
 When I was a little boy, there was a really heavy storm that I can’t forget. When the storm came, everyone quickly got inside. We felt cold because of the strong wind. Rain down! Too much dark clouds made the rain to be heavier. Strong wind made many big trees fall down, they crossed the streets. Because the storm was too heavy so our electricity was cut off. We just stayed inside and watched the rain. The rain lasted for four hours. After the storm, everyone was very happy. They got outside to enjoy the sun shine.

*Topic 28: What are you planning to do after taking the entrance exam?
 + Have a trip to somewhere.
 + Visit relatives because I haven’t got any chances to meet them for 3 months.
 + Wait for a week to know the result of this exam.
 I am planning to do after taking the entrange exam. Of course, no more study. Firstly, I and my classmates will have a trip to Ha Long Bay this July to visit some famous caves. Secondly, I will visit my relatives because in three months busy with learning, I didn’t have much chances to meet them. Thirdly, I must wait for a week to know the result of this entrange exam. I think I did this exam well. There are many things I want to do but these are what I want most.
