Rock Tran Lap
 Vietnamese rocker and songwriter Tran Lap , leader of the country’s most famous rock band , died of cancer on March 17th 2016 after a four month battle with cancer.
 Tran Lap , whose full name isTran Quyet Lap , was born on December 12th 1974 in Nam Dinh province . He began his artistic career with performances at the Department of Thearter , HaNoi College of Art from 1993 to 1997.He graduated from the Department of Economics , Ha Noi national univercity in 2001.
 In 1995 ,Tran Lap and some of his friends formed a rock band – Buc Tuong ( The Wall) and he was the leader of the group from its founding until it disbanded in 2006.He wrote more than 30 songs , especailly the song “ Road to Glory” The group developed a large number of fans in Viet Nam .Tran Lap is the one who turned Buc Tuong from a student rock group into Vietnam’s most successful rock band .He was also one of the four judges of the program “ Giong hat Viet” on VTV3.
