Introduction
aWarm up: Review vocabulary from the last lesson. Ask 10 children to come to the board and put them in 2 lines facing the board. Show the first child in each line a flashcard and they run to the board and write the word. The first team to write it correctly gets a point.
Development
a Ask the children what they remember of the story about Suzy the horse. The children look at the s in exercise 1 on p 64 of the workbook and ask them to tell you what order they go in. The children do exercise 1.
aOn the board write – Suzy is a fairground horse. Ask the child which is the correct picture.
a The children do exercise 2.
aFeedback asking individual children for the answers.
aOn the board write Suzy is a cow. Ask the children if this is correct or not and what it should be. The children do exercise 3.
aGive the children a copy of PMB p37. Ask them to tell you who they see in the pictures and how many people.

Consolidation
aPair work: - Speaking: Ask the children to work in pairs and name them A and B and ask them to sit back to back. Give an example by saying you are A and telling B that Lan came first in my race. B writes the answer on their table. They continue with their partner. They check with each other to make sure the tables are the same.
