Introduction
a Warm up the class by singing Where is my teddy bear? from page 60.
aTalk about bikes with the class. Ask Can you ride a bike? Have you got a bike? What colour is it? Ask children to look at the text and ask where they would see a text like this (on a website - it's a webpage). Ask children to look at the pictures and make predictions about the text, e.g. It's about bikes. They are for children. You can buy these bikes.
Development
aExercise 1: Ask children to look at the pictures again. They point to point to each bike and ask What colour is it? Ask children to work in pairs, taking turns 
To point to different pictures and say the colours.
Bike - pink and purple; Bike 2- black and orange; Bike 3-red, yellow, and green
aRecording 83: Tell children that they are going to read and listen to a text
about bikes for children. Play the recording for children to listen and follow silently in their books. Play the recording a second time. Ask questions to check comprehension, e.g. Who is the first / second / third bike for? Which bike is for girls? Which bike can you take to the beach?
aExercise 3: Explain to children that they are going to read sentences and decide which bike the sentences are talking about. Model the first one. Allow time for children to re-read the text and tick the correct column for each sentence. Go through the answers with the class.
Consolidation
aWord search pair activity: Ask children to work in pairs. Try to work out all the outdoor activities words and write them down. They then work in pairs and go through the answers.

Introduction
a Ask children about the 3 bikes from the last lesson. Make some statements about those bikes. Children listen and call out Bike 1/2/3 after each one. E. g. It's for girls. (1) It's red, yellow, blue, and green. (3) It has got big wheels. (2) It's a good bike for children aged 7 to 10. (2) It's fast and fun. 
Development 
aExercise 1: Children are going to read about different kinds of bike. Ask them to guess how many wheels each bike has got. Ask children to open their Work Book and check their answers. Bike A: two wheels; Bike B: one wheel;
aExercise 2: Children read the descriptions again and write the answers. They then work in pairs and compare the answers.

aExercise 3: Children read the descriptions again, circle the incorrect word. They then write the sentence correctly. Go through the answers with the class.

aDescribing locations: Give students the PMB Extra activity 2 worksheet (p.33). Children look at the picture, read the statements and draw the object in the right place. Children then work in pairs, take turns to ask and answer about the location of the objects.
Consolidation
aGame: Divide the class into groups. Ask them to design the perfect bike and give it a name. Children take turns to tell the rest of their group about their bikes, e.g. This is 'Fast Wheels: It's purple and black. It's very fast. Then ask some of the children to tell the rest of the class about their bikes.

Introduction
a Ask a question about the location of something in the class, e.g. Where’s Aisha’s bag? Children must answer the question using the prepositions of place. The first child to answer correctly asks another question to the class.
a Remind children of the webpage on bikes. Ask How many bikes are there? What colour are the bikes? Who are they for? Ask children to look at the pictures in Exercise 1, identify the things and predict what they’re going to hear.
Development
aRecording 84: Tell children that they are going to hear a recording of a girl describing toys. They have to listen and write numbers next to each toy. Play the recording the whole way through. Continue playing, pausing after each description for them to find the correct picture. Children listen again and check.

aExercise 2: Model the dialogue. Ask Where’s the skateboard? It’s in front of the table. Ask children to work in pairs, take turns to point to the objects in the picture, ask and answer questions about their locations. Give feedback. 
a Exercise 3: Elicit to teach a/ an. Ask whether a/ an comes before a word with a vowel (an). Give more examples. Explain that they must circle the vowels (a, e, i, o, u) and decide whether to put a/ an. Ask them to circle the vowels at the start of words and then write a/ an in the gaps.

Consolidation
a Spelling Quiz: Put pupils in teams. Nominate a ‘secretary’ in each group. Read all the words out (on the second page) one by one and afterwards teams can correct each others, and you can elicit the spelling from the entire class.

Introduction
a Board game: Give each pair of children a copy of board game Where is it? Ask them to talk about locations of things, using the target language. When one of the children moves to the Finish. The game is over.
a Ask children look at the Remember box again. Say the rhyme as a chant for children to repeat. They draw the letters in the air as they say them.
Development
aExercise 1: Remind children of a/ an. Ask them to complete the sentences with a/ an. Check the answers.

aExercise 2: Children read the verbs, tick (✔) what you can do and cross (✘) what you can’t do. Children then work in pairs, ask and answer about what they can or can’t do. Ask some children to talk in front of the class.
aExercise 3: Ask children to draw themselves and write sentences about what they can or can’t do. Children then work in pairs, talk about themselves.
E.g. I can play football. I can ride a bike. But I can’t play tennis. 
Consolidation
aValues: Give a copy of the Values worksheet (PMB p. 31) to each student. Ask them to look at the pictures and circle the good things in blue and the bad things in red. Encourage them to say why some thing is good or bad.
Ask children what their favorite sports are. They then draw their favorite sports, write sentences and talk about them. Ask some of the children to talk before the class.
