Ask them to look at the pictures from Exercise 1 carefully, find the healthy activities and color them. They then work in pairs and discuss about the healthy activities. Encourage children to state a reason why the activity is healthy or not. Ask some children to talk before the class. aMy healthy weekend: Ask children to think of the healthy activities from Exercise 1. They decide on the healthy activities for their weekend. They then draw a picture about their weekend activities. Ask children to show their picture for the class and talk about their activities. Consolidation aGame: Yeah or Oops: Ask children to work in groups of 4 – 6. In turns, they suggest the activities for their weekend. If the suggested activity is healthy, other children say: Yeah! Show Story poster 6 to encourage ideas. Cover the poster and ask children which school things appeared in the story. Development aExercise 1: Ask children to turn to the story on page 43 of their Class Books. Play the recording, pausing for children to repeat. Divide the class into groups of three to play the parts of Rosy, Tim, and Miss Jones. Decide on the actions for the story. Children practise acting out the story.
